Terry Ward, a well-known travel writer from the United States, recently published her experience of a recent trip to Sierra Leone. Recently, Sierra Leone was named one of the best places to live in 2023.
Terry Ward claimed in an interview that Sierra Leone is becoming known as an adventure destination with stunning images.
She claimed that there are magnificent historical locations where black Americans once investigated the origins of slavery in West Africa. The woman went on to say that Bonthe Island is currently the most significant cultural site associated with Sierra Leone's history of slavery, and she added that the women are now empowered with a variety of entrepreneurial abilities.
She continued by saying that Sierra Leone has taught her a lot, and she mentioned Banana Island in the Freetown Peninsular, calling it a "wonderful Island to explore."
The warm nature of Sierra Leoneans, she said, makes travelling thrilling.
